Adv.Ramesh L. Soni (Notary) M.B.A.(HR), B.Sc.(Hons.), LL.B., D.L.L.& L.W. D.P.M. & I.R., A.I.I.I; M.P.M. (H.R), DMS
Adv. R. L. Soni is a highly qualified veteran in the field of Labour Laws and Labour Welfare with over 45 years of expertise.
He holds a B.Sc. (Hons.), LL.B., and a Diploma in Labour Laws and Labour Welfare from Mumbai University. He further pursued an MBA in Human Resources, a Master’s in Personnel Management (HR), a Diploma in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations, and is an Associate of the Insurance Institute of India (A.I.I.I.).
As the Principal Consultant of RLS Consulting, Adv. R. L. Soni has guided organisations across industries on labour law compliance and advisory matters for more than four decades. He has authored numerous articles on labour laws and is a regular faculty and speaker on the subject. He is also a visiting faculty at reputed institutions including:
- Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI)
- Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI)
- Bharatratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Institute of Management and Legal Research (Mumbai) and several others
With his vast experience in Labour Laws and Statutory Compliances, Adv. R. L. Soni has been recognised for his contribution to the field. He is also appointed as a Public Notary by the Government of India.

Adv. Jigar Soni M.B.A.(HR), B.Com, LL.B, D.L.L.(Hons)
Jigar Soni’s fascination with Indian Labour Laws began during his early association with RLS Consulting, much before he completed his B.Com. and LL.B. from Mumbai University. To strengthen his expertise, he pursued a Global MBA (HR) from the S P Jain School of Global Management, during which he interned with Franklin Templeton, Singapore.
On completing the MBA, he joined KPMG, Mumbai, where he worked for close to a decade, gaining extensive exposure to corporate practices and people management.
For the last decade, Jigar has been associated with RLS Consulting as a Management Consultant on Labour Laws, blending legal expertise with practical business insights to guide organisations on compliance and advisory matters effectively.

Course Agenda
- The programme will provide a practical overview of the New Labour Codes and important statutory compliances applicable to organisations. Key areas covered include the Code on Wages and its impact on salary structuring, PF, ESIC, Bonus, and Gratuity, along with important provisions relating to overtime and fixed-term employment. The session will also cover Social Security compliances including Provident Fund, Pension, ESIC, and Gratuity regulations. Participants will gain insights into the Industrial Relations Code covering trade unions, standing orders, industrial disputes, retrenchment, and closure provisions. The workshop will further address the Occupational Safety, Health & Working Conditions Code including working hours, leave, contract labour, migrant workers, inspections, registers, and penalties.
